Myth/Legend: Fairies

Origin: English Folklore

Nestled within the hollows

The Fae folks slumber deep

Once dusk progresses into night

They will awaken from their sleep.

Nimble and quick

When they depart from their sleeping lair

Leaving essences of frost, mist and fairy dust

Lingering to permeate the air.

Evenings bring on their hunting hour

The little folks are required to feed

The lively souls of humans

Is what they crave and need.

Cursed fallen deities

Neither dead nor alive

They travel in the nightly shadows

To take away your life.

Vindictive in nature

You should never trust a fae

Trickery and pure evil

Is their true and only way. ~  Fam Zsolti
